We know that some of our competitor’s are careless with their client’s document shredding. What we need you to know is that Evergreen ensures the security and confidentiality of all client waste.

Security begins at collection, to make this as convenient as possible we supply bags and secure tags or storage bins/containers.

When we collect documents from your place of work we ensure that nothing escapes. On collection, our vehicles drive into our warehouse to be unloaded under cover. Shredding takes place under cover on the day of collection or delivery (we accept small or large deliveries if you prefer this.) We check that all transport containers, bags and bins are empty. We even check our vehicles are clear before they leave the warehouse and that includes the wheel arches!

We shred documents to a size which exceeds British and European standards using state-of-the-art machinery to produce high quality shredded paper (free of paper clips, staples etc.) This is then baled and transported to Kelmsey paper mill in Kent, one of the most technologically advanced paper mills in Europe, for recycling.

Why are we so fastidious about recycling and security? By recycling paper we estimate that we “save” about 1,500 trees each week and we can confidently say that there is no danger of a client contravening the Data Protection Act when using Evergreen.
